The placement of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. This does not affect any statutory rights that you may have. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference.

Description of Goods

Many of the products we sell are of a descriptive nature and it is not practical to publish detailed specifications of all the products. All images, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising on our site are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods.

Accuracy of Product Information

All product specifications, images and other information published on our website have either been made accessible by suppliers, manufactures, publications, publicists, or been gathered from public-domain sources, due to the volume of images on our website, errors may arise. Therefore we do not warrant that the image is correct, complete or corresponds to the description of the product.

Payment and Price

The total price payable for the goods will be stipulated at the time when you place your order and can be clearly seen in your shopping cart. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our supplier's prices or the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong. We will give you the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order. All prices on our website are exclusive of VAT.

Typographical Errors

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or error in pricing information from our suppliers, taxes or duty changes, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been placed.

Payment Methods

prsalonsupplies.co.uk accept all major credit cards and debit cards. All credit and debit card orders are secured via our encrypted website and via Sage pay. On the order you must provide us with your exact billing address, telephone number and the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you. Incorrect information will be displayed on checkout and will cause a delay in processing your order. Your order will only be processed once authorisation of your credit card has been properly received.

Availability of Goods

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time.

Delivery Charges & Times

PR Salon Supplies operates a flat rate shipping charge of £5.00 plus Vat for most parts of mainland UK. The Channel Islands, Offshore islands, Highlands, Scottish Islands and certain areas of the UK may vary according to the size and weight of the parcel. Special delivery charges will be quoted on request. This excludes any large or heavy items. Orders placed online over £50, excluding VAT, to most parts of mainland UK qualify for free delivery. We reserve the right to choose any method of shipping if deemed necessary.

Once goods leave our store they are then in the hands of the courier and out of our control. Any dates we specify for delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods. If we or our suppliers are temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of this position.

Cancellations

Prior to despatch, non-standard items such as furniture/special order items, cannot be cancelled. Cancellation after despatch cannot be accepted.

VAT Free Explained

For all VAT Free offers, prices have been reduced in the promotion with a discount which is equal to VAT Free (16.66%). Therefore, it is equivalent to not having to pay the VAT. VAT is still applied to the order at the current rate of 20%.

For example, if you order an item costing £10 ex VAT. The total you would normally pay is £12 inc VAT. When we are running a VAT FREE promotion, we reduce the price of the item by 16.66% to £8.33. Therefore, when we add on the VAT, the total you pay is £10 which would be the original price ex VAT.

Risk

As soon as we have dispatched the goods they are then in the hands of the courier and out of our control and YOU will be responsible for them. We will only deliver goods to the address on the order. From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk. Any transit damage to the goods, shortages, or incorrect goods supplied, must be noted on the delivery consignment note at the time of delivery. 

Damage in transit: If goods arrive in a damaged condition you MUST make a note on the carrier's delivery consignment note and it will be your responsibility to inform us within 24 hours by e-mail. PR Professional Salon Supplies Ltd will not and cannot be held responsible for any damage or shortages of products during delivery and it will be your responsibility to take this up with the courier. 

Shortages: It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the courier’s delivery consignment note. Any shortages must be noted on the consignment note and it will be your responsibility to inform us within 24 hours by e-mail. 

Signing for goods accepts the goods into your care and confirms that they have been received complete and in undamaged packaging.  You have the right to refuse damaged or incomplete parcels.

Incorrect Goods: It is your responsibility to notify us of any incorrect goods supplied, within 24 hours from delivery. 

Non-Deliveries: We will not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless we are notified within 5 days from the expected delivery date.

In the event of customer absence at the time of delivery, an attempt will be made by the courier to re-deliver another day.  Any request to deliver to an alternative delivery address after repeated failed attempts by the courier, may incur extra postage charges to you.

Please be aware that when shipping products internationally, cross border shipments can be subject to inspection by authorities.

Returns

If goods have been ordered in error or are not as expected:
Please contact 01429 281789 Please note, goods must be returned within 7 working days of the returns reference being issued.

If goods have been ordered in error or are unsuitable:
The Buyer must pay for the return postage, The relevant reference number must be quoted on accompanying documentation. Goods must be returned within 7 days of receipt, unused, in perfect condition and sent back in its original packaging.

If items are returned as unsuitable:
The Buyer will only be entitled to a refund on the item purchased and not the original postage paid. This process can take between 7-10 working days to complete and for a refund to be issued.

Carriage for any alternative items is to be paid for by The Buyer. The Seller accepts no responsibility for items lost in transit.  It is recommended that a receipt of posting is obtained, and it is the Buyers responsibility to ensure adequate insurance is purchased to cover the items being returned.  

Faulty Goods

Products that are deemed faulty can be returned for repair or replacement, PR Professional Salon Supplies Ltd operate a 'Non-Refund' policy, this does not affect any statutory rights that you may have, faulty goods can be returned up to 7 working days following receipt of order, please inform us by email.  All our electrical goods carry a 12-month manufacturer's Guarantee. 

Guarantees

Product Guarantees: All products supplied are covered by the terms and conditions of the Manufacturer's Guarantee for their stated period. This guarantee specifically excludes faults caused by accident, neglect, and misuse. This does not affect any statutory rights that you may have. Please check with manufacturer for their guarantee and terms and conditions.

Order Cancellation

We do not accept cancellation of orders once payment has been made. 

Due to strict hygiene regulations
We cannot accept returns of items such as scissors, clippers, razors or any item that does not have a manufacturers seal (as the item cannot be resold). This list is not exhaustive.

WEEE

The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items. In the UK, distributors (retailers) must provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge.

If you do not recycle, electrical equipment will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination, harming wildlife and human health.

PR Professional Salon Supplies Ltd is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like for like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us.

For Example, if a customer bought a new hairdryer from prsalonsupplies.co.uk we would accept their old hairdryer and prevent it going into landfill site by disposing of it safely.

By purchasing any item from this website, you are declaring that you are aware of how the products are to be used, thus we claim no responsibility if any product is misused due to negligence.

Products are sold for the purposes of professional use and to be used in accordance with manufactures guidelines.
